MĂGURELE (ILFOV)

District/county (județ) : Ilfov

Stema Măgurele (Ilfov)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 8, 2010.

The atom refers to the Institute of Atomic Physics, an institution located in this locality.

The wavy bar represents the Sabar river, which crosses the city territory.

The royal crown reminds of Mrs. Stanca, the wife of Mihai Viteazu.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
