Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 8, 1996.

The arms are based on the only known seal of the village, which is known from the middle of the 19th century. The seal already shows a farmer plowing a field with horses. This composition has been converted to the current arms, showing in base two small bars. These both indicate the plowed field, but also symbolise the Cirocha and Hodkovec rivers in the village. The colours were chosen arbitrarily.
