Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2021.

The chapel refers to the name of the village, the fig leaves are attributes of Saint Bartholomew, the local patron saint. The chief is taken from the arms of the department.

The merles are taken from a coat of arms which appears in the church.
