GOLLING AN DER SALZACH

State : Salzburg
District : Hallein

Golling.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 3, 1929.

The arms were probably granted at the same time as the town rights, in 1390. The upper half of the arms shows St. John, the local patron saint. The meaning of the raven in the lower half is not mentioned.
