Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Wildberg, who used the arms in black instead of blue. The blue in the arms was chosen to symbolise a fountain, for the former spa Bad Knutwil in the municipality. The village was a possession of the Lords of Wildberg until 1484 when it was sold to the city of Luzern.
