Official blason

Sköld, delad av blått, vari ett genomgående treberg av guld, och av blått, vari åtta avhuggna stockar av guld, bjälkvis ställda (3,2,3).

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 17, 1948.

The upper part is taken from the seal of Torp parish. The lower half refers to forestry and the timber industry in the municipality. The blue colour refers to the Ljungan river.
