WIEN-ALTHAN(GRUND)

State : Wien (Vienna)

Origin/meaning :
The name derives from the counts of Althan, who became the landlords of this region in 1685. The arms are also taken from the arms of the counts of Althan.

This region is now part of the 9th municipal district, Alsergrund.
