- (fr) D'azur à la tête de cerf en pointe, contournée, posée de trois-quarts de tenné et ramée d'or, accompagnée en chef, à dextre, d'une fleur de lis d'argent et, à senestre d'une clé de sol de sable sur sa portée du même.
Origin/meaning
The deer refers to the hunting in the area. The fleur-de-lys is taken as a symbol for the medieval lords of the village. The musical key refers to the fact that Frédéric Chopin's ancestors lived in Romont.
