D’azur à la bande ondée d’argent, accompagnée en chef d’un besant éclatant de dix huit rais chargés de vingt trois besants de taille très inférieure et en pointe d’un semé de fleurs de lys, le tout d’or Blason of the Robert Louis Proposal: D'azur semé de fleurs de lys d'or, au chevron ondé, couché, contourné d'argent, brochant sur le tout. Origin/meaningThe Wavy Bend denotes the River Essonne. The Upper Part symbolises the Nuclear Research carried out in the Area. The Semee de Lys is from the Arms of Ile de France. The arms was adopted in 1989. The Symbolism of Robert Louis' Proposal is Arms of Ile d'France and the Wave indicate the conflunece of the Rivers Essonne and Seine.
