Arms : Or, on . a cross raguly vert a fleur-de-lys of the field; a chief gules, thereon a three-tiered castle between two rams' heads caboshed argent.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, In front of flames a demi figure of Vulcan holding in the dexter hand four arrows and over the sinister shoulder a hammer, all proper.
Supporters: On either side a panther [guardant] gules, incensed, charged on the shoulder with a pierced cinquefoil ermine.
Motto: E mulcibere garae
