ALSTING
English | No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation |
Origin/meaning
The two keys are the symbol of St. Peter, the local patron saint. The lion's head is taken from the arms of the Forbah County, to which the area largely belonged. The cross refers to the Teutonic Order, who also owned part of the municipality in historical times.
