District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin

Stema Coronini

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.

The catfish represent the fish richness of the area; the old name of the locality, Pescari, suggests the main occupation of the locals.

The sheaf of wheat represents agriculture, the basic activity of the inhabitants of Sfânta Elena village, belonging to the commune.

The rock represents the famous Babacai rock, located at the entrance to the limestone sector of the Danube Gorge.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
