NO 790 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First formed in 1941 st Royal Naval Air Station Macranhanish as an Air Target Towing Unit for three months. The Squadron reformed in Dorset in 1942 as part of the Fighter Direction School. Disbanded in 1949.
