Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 1, 2006.

The acorns refer to both oak as symbol of fortitude and to the fertility of the local soil. The number 12 refers to the number of first houses of the newly established village in the 18th century. The green field symbolizes hope and striving for freedom.
