English | Blue; a lion rampant gold holding between the fore paws a bugle horn also gold charged with a rose white and seeded proper. Mottoes: Nil temere neque timore and Venimus invisi. |
Origin/meaning
The Lion holds the badge of the King's Own Yorkshire Light infantry (Fifty-First of Foot) alluding to the original Name of the Submarine P51. The Mottoes translates as "Neither foolhardy nor afraid" ansd "We come unseen". The badge was approved in 1944.
