Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on April 9, 2010 by the council of Étrepigney.
The wavy bars represent the Doubs and the Doulogne rivers. The oak branch symbolises the link of the inhabitants with the local forests. The stars are derived from the coat of arms of the Cinq-Cens family.
