38TH AERIAL PORT SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE
History:Constituted as 3 Air Cargo Control Squadron (Special) on 6 Nov 1944. Activated on 24 Nov 1944. Inactivated on 20 May 1946. Disbanded on 8 Oct 1948. Reconstituted, and redesignated as, 38 Aerial Port Squadron, on 23 Jul 1982. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1982.
