Département : Moselle

Blason de Gelucourt

Official blazon

D'argent au mont de sable enflammé de gueules et surmonté d'une croix de Malte d'azur.

Origin/meaning

The Maltese cross refers to the Knights Templar, to whom part of the village historically belonged. The flaming mountain is the symbol for St. Brice of Tours (Brisius), the local patron saint.
