Interzato in fascia; al capo d'azzurro al sole d'oro irraggiante; in riga d'argento il motto (Jamais sans toi) a lettere d'oro; il campo inferiore piu' scuro, ai due grappoli d'uva, di rosso a destra e d'oro a sinistra, tra i pampini verdi nascenti da un monticello al naturale in punta. Il tutto bordato d'oro.

Origin/meaning

The area is well-known for its wines, and this is reflected in the arms with the grapes in the base. Grapes need sun to develop properly, which is symbolised by the sun and the motto Jamais sans toi (loosely translated as Without you, I am nothing).
