Origin/meaning

The arms show in the base a walnut tree (noyer) as a canting element. The wheatears refer to the former agricultural character of the municipality. The centre part refers with the lightning bolts and waves to the large telecommunication centre in the village. The wavy bar is the Morbras river, the Northern boundary of the municipality and the chief shows the arms of Denis de Viole, Lord of Noiseau in 1560.
