Origin/meaning
The arms show the alerion of Lorraine quartered with the cross moline of the Boulay estate, which was a possession of the Dukes of Lorraine, and the village was part of the Bouly estate. The cross in the third quarter has been replaced by the cross of the arms of the Saint Croix de Bouzonville abbey, which had several possessions in the village.
