Gespalten von Silber und Blau; vorn ein schwebendes blaues, von fünf goldenen Nägeln zusammengehaltenes Andreaskreuz, hinten ein silberner goldbewehrter Adler.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 3, 1952.
The arms show the cross of St. Andrew (Andreas), the local patron saint. The silver eagle is taken from the arms of the historical County of Arnsberg, to which the village belonged.
