GŁOWNO (RURAL MUNICIPALITY)
Origin/meaning
The tower refers to the beginnings of settlement in this area: a fortified settlement at the confluence of the rivers Mroga and Mrożycy. The fleur-de-lys are taken from the arms of the Diocese of Gniezno, to which the area historically belonged. The green hill refers to the hilly landscape and agriculture.
