CICLOVA ROMÂNĂ
District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.
The two towers represent the Ilidia fortress, documented from the 12th century. The lion with the sword represents the struggle for independence of this city over time. The lion with the cross symbolizes the Călugăra Monastery, as well as the historically attested churches located on the commune's territory.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
