Punaisessa kentässä kolme tammenlehteä, joiden varret yhtyvät haaruristiksi, varsien yhtymäkohdasta versoaa kummallekin sivulle terho; kaikki hopeaa.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 29, 1953.

The arms are canting, tammi means oak, and thus show three oak leaves and two acorns.

The first arms were proposed in 1946 and also showed the oak leaves and some flames in the upper half, these were not officially granted.
