Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on July 5, 1996.
The arms of the village have the attributes of the local patron saint, St. Martin (a sword and two horseshoes, because of the legend saying that the Saint, riding a horse, cut out with his sword a piece of his cloak to protect a poor man that was on his way). They show too the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four red pales on gold), because Campelles was the centre of a royal council.
