Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on May 31, 2018.
The division of the shield in the colors of the department of Mayenne, indicates that the territory of the town is cut in two, which is uncommon in France.
The star and the bees are associated with a famous legend in Alexain where a statue of the Virgin was discovered near a swarm of bees.
The sheaves of wheat refer to the agricultural character of the village.
