Origin/meaning
The arms show a scallop, the symbol of St. James, as the village is on the road to Santiago de Compostella. The donkey refers to the fact that in historical times a main road led through the village, on which many trains of pack animals passed. Th eoaks refer to the landscape, the tower to the village itself.
