Origin/meaning
The arms wer egranted in 1977 after the merger with the other municipalities.
The arms are a combination of the elements from the 4 older arms.
The previous arms were granted in 1951 on the 1000th anniversary of the village. The arms are based on the symbol on the two oldest seals, dating from 1623 and 1664. The symbol most likely is a ring, but its meaning is not known.
