Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 1st June 1983.
The hills surmounted by the castle of Centelles and the dependent chapel of Santa Maria del Castell are the traditional sign of the arms of the village. The lozengy Or and Gules are the arms of the barons of Centelles, the lords of the castle, and the colours of these arms are depicted too in the banner flying over the castle.
