Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 7, 2017.

The whip is the instrument of the martyrdom of Saint Gervais, the patron saint of the parish.

The ermine and the red shield refer to the local the castle by using the elements of the arms of Jean d'Anneville, former lord of the village.

Periwinkles are typical flowers that bloom in spring in the woods of Goussaincourt.
