Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in September 2022.
The wheat ears indicate the agricultural character of the municipality. The elm leaf is a canting element (the name means 'a place planted with elm trees'). The Agnus Dei is the symbol of St. John Baptist, the local patron saint.
