NO 808 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1940 at Royal Naval Air Station Worthy Down as a Fleet Fighter Squadron for HMs Ark Royal. Finally reformed 1950 and transfered to the Royal Australian Navy.

Origin/meaning
The Rings allude to the Squadron's number 808, and the close-knit feelings in the Squadron. The Badge was approved in 1941.
