Kultaisessa kentässä musta palokärki, jonka päälaki ja kynnet punaiset, kentän oikea pieli musta.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 4, 1953.

The black part of the arms is a canting element, pieli means wooden post. The black woodpecker is a common bird in the forests in the municipality and symbolises nature.
