Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În câmp albastru se află un munte de argint, având în vârf o floare de mac, roșie. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 28, 2007.
The silver mountain represents the Cărbunele massif, which gives the name of the locality. The poppy flower evokes the heroism of the inhabitants who fell in the First World War.
The silver mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
