Arms : Ermine, on a cross gules between in chief a pavilion purpure, lined argent, and a lion rampant, and in base a griffin segreant and an open book all proper, the latter edged and bound Or, in front of a sword sheathed, point upwards, a hind lodged, pierced by an arrow, Or.
Crest: On a wreath argent and gules, In front of a saltire argent a female figure representing Justice blindfolded proper, habited azure, scarf gules, in the dexter hand. a pair of scales Or and in the sinister a sword erect proper, hilt and pomel Or.
