På blå grunn ei vengja sølv pil på skrå oppover.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 23, 1983.

The arms show a wing, derived from the arms of the Hestbø family, one of the mightiest families in the area in the 14th century. They had their stronghold on their estate Hesby in the present municipality.
