Origin/meaning

The arms refer to the history and nature of the municipality, the cranes are representatives of the local fauna, and the well refers to the historical well of St. Otto, located in Cerkwica. The well played a role in the baptism of the inhabitants of Western Pomerania, performed at the turn of 1124 and 1125 by St. Otto, Bishop of Bamberg.
