Vornholz.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 10, 1991.

Vornholz lies in Eastern Styria. The arms show in the right half some flax flowers, as flax was grown in the region for a long time. The tree branches, or Astpfähle in the left half are symbols to the woods, which gave the village its name (Holz=wood) and are important to local economy.
