Escut caironat: de sinople, una vila d'argent sostinguda sobre una faixa abaixada d'or i acompanyada al cap d'una mitra d'argent embellida d'or, folrada de gules i amb les ínfules d'or ressaltant sobre un bàcul de bisbe d'or posat en pal. Per timbre, una corona mural de poble.
Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 10th April 1984.
Canting arms: they show the "vilanova" (new village) on a golden road ("camí" in Catalan). Above there are the attributes of St. Hilary, bishop of Poitiers, the local patron saint: a mitre and a staff.
