PORNAINEN
Region : Uusimaa
Former province : 1997-2009 Etelä-Suomen, until 1997 Uusimaa
Official blazon
Sinisessä kentässä kultainen kirkonkello, jonka kummallakin puolella saatteena kultainen, hopealankainen värttinä.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 12, 1952.
The arms show a bell and two spindles, as the local church bell was acquired in 1731 of the proceeds of the local women making cotton and other threads by spinning at home.
