Region : Nordjylland
Amt (until 2007) : Nordjylland
Incorporated into : 1970 Sejlflod (2007 Aalborg)

Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1948 and show two bees and a spindle as symbols for the textile industry, which was founded in the village at the end of the 18th century. The trademark of the local factory was a bee. The salmon symbolises the importance of fisheries in the municipality.
