El primero de azur con un castillo de plata, sumado de tres torres, mazonado de sable y aclarado de gules, acompañado de un grifo de plata adiestrado y de una rama de adelfa florecida, en su color, colocada entre el castillo y el grifo. El segundo cuartel de plata la figura de Rodrigo Pérez de Acevedo en el momento de divisar el Nuevo Mundo.
