  • (fr) Parti: au 1er de sinople à saint Léger, évêque d'or, au 2e d'azur à la fasce ondée d'argent; le tout sommé d'un chef d'argent chargé d'une volute de crosse de gueules accostée à dextre de la lettre gothique S et à senestre de la lettre gothique L toutes deux de sable.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 10, 2015.

The arms show Saint Leodegar of Poitiers (Saint Léger in French), the local patron saint, and a wavy bar for the Loire river. The chief shows the town's initials and again a crosier for the saint.
