  • (fr) De gueules à la bande d'or chargée d'une péniche de sable, accompagnée en chef d'un four à pain d'or, maçonné de sable et ouvert du champ, et, en pointe, d'une entrée de tunnel d'or ouverte de sable.

Origin/meaning

The bend is taken from the arms of the Châlon family, to whom the village historically belonged. The glass furnace and mine entrance symbolise mining and industry. The black barge refers to the shipping on the Canal du Centre.
