Taillé: au 1er d'azur au croissant d'argent, au 2e d'argent à l'écusson du champ chargé d'une croisette pattée de gueules, surmonté d'un filet en barre de gueules.
Origin/meaning
The arms show in the upper part the arms of the last Lord of Lavigney, Petit. In the lower half the cross Templar refers to the fact that Grand-Master Jacques de Molay (the 23rd and last Grand Master of the Knights Templar) was born in the nearby village of Molay in 1243.
