Arms: Gules, a chevron between two lions' gambs erased and a bordure argent, in the honour point a fieur-de-lys Or, on a chief also argent an eagle displayed looking to the.sinister sable, beaked and legged and anciently crowned gold, for Browne, impaling Quarterly, first and fourth argent, a chevron gules between three lions' faces sable, for Farington, second gules three pierced cinque foils argent, for Farington, third argent a cross engrailed sable between four torteaux, for Clayton; the whole within a bordure gules.

Origin/meaning
The arms were not granted on July 19, 1957.
Brentwood School was founded by Sir Antony Browne and his wife, Joan, who obtained a Royal Charter licencing them to found the School on July 5th, 1558. The arms show the arms of Sir Anthony and his wife. This combination was already used for a long time by the school, before the arms were officially granted in 1957.
