Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1965.

The arms show a silver bend, representing the Odense river. The silver chalice symbolises the historical monastery in Dalum, whereas the wheel symbolises the former watermill, from which the local industries developed.

Literature : Zeuthen, 2000.
