FRESNOIS-LA-MONTAGNE
Département : Meurthe-et-Moselle
Official blason
- (fr) D'argent au frêne de sinople fûté de sable issant d'un brasier de gueules mouvant de la pointe.
Origin/meaning
The ash tree (Frêne) is a canting symbol. The fire in base and the black trunk refer to the burning of the village during the First World War when 102 houses were destroyed. The tree has green leaves to indicate that life has returned to the village.
