3RD SIGNALS REGIMENT NORRLAND SIGNALS REGIMENT, SWEDISH ARMY
History: Raised in 1957 as a Battalion, becoming a Regiment in 1987. Reduced to a Corps in 1994 and in 2000 become a Battalion within the Norrbotten Regiment. This Battalion was disbanded in 2004.
Official blazon
I med stjärnor av guld bestrött blått fält, en springande ren av silver med röd beväring. skölden lagd över ett knippe viggar av guld.
Origin/meaning
The Arms of Västerbotten here is used to symbolise Norrland which as such dosen't have any Arms.
